Foodies, take note: Next month, the Tofino Food and Wine Festival will feature a winemaker's dinner combining the skills of Andrew Springett, the chef at the Wickaninnish Inn's acclaimed Pointe Restaurant, with offerings from Senka Tennant, winemaker for Black Hills Estate Winery in central B.C.
The third annual event will run from June 3 to 5, and aims to raise funds for Tofino's Lighthouse Trail, a 2.5-kilometre path running along the Pacific coast. It will also feature live jazz, a silent auction and canapes created by local chefs paired with B.C. wines.
