Fine Dining Server
Join our Restaurant Team as a Fine Dining Server, where you have the opportunity to learn and grow in a Relais & Chateaux property, also recognized by Forbes, Michelin (Two Keys), AAA 4-Diamond, and T&L’s World's Best Hotel. The successful candidate must be able to lead, and be a role model for all operating standards and systems. Energy, passion, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task are necessary for this position. A commitment to continuous improvement is key.

As a Fine Dining Server you will:
- Ensure efficient and personalized guest service meeting and exceeding Relais & Chateaux, AAA 4 & 5 Diamond and Forbes Standards.
- Lead by example and be a pro-active member of The Pointe Restaurant Team.
- Guide guests through available food & beverage options, assisting in selection if requested.
- Assist in the selection of the appropriate wine or spirit to accompany the meal.
- Deliver selected food & beverage to our guests, displaying the meal in a manner suitable for 4 & 5 Diamond establishments.
- Work in a team environment.
- Assist with the preparation of the dining room for ensuing shifts.
- Balance cash-outs.

- The willingness to learn in a team environment while striving to exceed Relais & Chateaux, AAA 4 & 5 Diamond and Forbes Standards and be constantly challenged to grow within the restaurant team.
- Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant environment.
- Good knowledge of food, wine, beer and spirits.
- An appreciation for detail, and a passion for guest service.
- Professional and positive attitude in every aspect of the position.
- Consistent punctuality and dedication.
- A calm, polite and composed demeanor.
- A desire to contribute exciting and innovative ideas towards the ongoing improvement of The Pointe Restaurant and the Wickaninnish Inn as a whole.
- A valid Serving It Right Certification.
- Self-motivation in learning extensively about wines and spirits.
- Sommelier Certification an asset.
- The ability to successfully pass the In-House Wine exam.
- Knowledge of the use of Silverware computer system.

Salary/Wage: $16.75 per hour
