The last few months have been filled with many questions, conversations, time to reflect, appreciation and patience. It can be hard work to find a sense of normalcy within uncertain times, but I hope you found some joyful moments, too! It has been quieter here in Tofino, but as spring blossoms into summer we are readying ourselves for the wonder of warmer days and late sunsets on the beach.

As British Columbia moves toward Phase 3 of the province-wide restart plan, we are preparing to open our doors! By June 22nd we are hoping to welcome BC residents back to Tofino, and, if all goes well under relevant travel advisories, we’ll extend reservations beyond our borders in early July.

We are introducing some new measures, during this reopening process. For everyone’s safety, you’ll find a different welcoming process in place and more spacious seating at The Pointe Restaurant to facilitate proper distancing. Upon reopening, our wonderful Ancient Cedars Spa is happy to provide select treatments, retail and semi-private yoga, and each guest room will be vacant for 24 hours following each departure.

Something that will never change, of course, is our commitment to creating a unique experience for you. You can expect our services to continue with the highest levels of safety and excellence even if some standards are temporarily modified to meet government requirements.

As time passes, conditions will change, and we will adapt, and we will continue to keep you informed both by these newsletters and on the home page of our website. Of course if you have any questions, please feel to contact us at anytime!

Having our guests return to the Inn will certainly feel like a celebration, and we are looking forward to welcoming you very soon as time and circumstances allow.
