It’s that beautiful time of year when we’ve had some downtime during our annual closure after the holidays—well, with the exception of renovations—and we’re feeling refreshed! We reopened at the beginning of February and welcomed everyone back over a busy Valentine’s and Family Day Weekend. Whether they came for storms or sun, the last month has not disappointed and Tofino, as always, sparkled in any weather!

In other accomplishments this month, we were so pleased to receive four stars from Forbes, our highest rating since we started participating in the Forbes Travel Guide program in 2015. As a “global authority on luxury hospitality,” Forbes sends anonymous guests to visit different properties around the world, allowing for an objective perspective on their visit here. Their writeup on the Inn included wonderful highlights such as our “warm laid-back service” to make guests feel “right at home,” and a note that “the seascape views at The Pointe Restaurant is just as fresh as the food.” Words of recognition like these—in a public award or a lovely email privately written from a guest—give us cause for celebration. Our wish is to create a meaningful experience for you, whether that’s one of relaxation or exploration! And hearing we’re doing so shows the dedication of our team succeeding in working together to bring this vision to life.

While we cherish the coziness of winter, looking ahead, we are excited to see signs of spring: longer days, warmer sunshine and a little more colour around town as little sprigs of greenery shoot out.
