As the natural rhythms of Tofino begin their autumnal transitions, we’re reminded of the continuous movement around us. The salmon make their way upstream, eagles and bears feast in preparation for the quieter months ahead, and the skies are filled with the sights and sounds of migratory birds on their journey south. It’s a time of reflection and change, a nod to the ebb and flow of the seasons that shape both nature and our own experiences.

This sense of transition feels especially poignant as we look back on the year so far and the many wonderful guests who have chosen to invest their hard-won vacation time in visiting Tofino and our team here at the Wickaninnish Inn. Based on the direct experiential feedback from many of our same guests, we are deeply honoured to have just been named the “#1 Resort in the USA and Canada" by Condé Nast Traveller’s 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards. In addition, we have also been recently awarded two MICHELIN Keys in the inaugural MICHELIN Guide 2024 key distinctions, the one and the same organization responsible for designating one, two or three stars to amazing restaurants around the world.

These accolades are a testament to the dedication of our entire team, both past and present. They reflect our deep commitment to creating a touch of magic for everyone who visits us at the Inn. Whether it’s a coffee alongside a serene sunrise over Chesterman Beach, a restorative treatment at Ancient Cedars Spa, or a thoughtfully crafted meal at The Pointe Restaurant, we strive to create an experience that feels uniquely yours.

We also recognize that we are only as good as our most recent guest’s stay. With renewed excitement, we remain focused on seeking new opportunities to uphold our commitment to consistent excellence in hospitality while we strive to also be a little bit better tomorrow than we are today.
