Reopening Sunday February 2, 2020: We’re freshening things up during our annual closure, and will be ready to welcome you back on the second of February. Alongside some updates to paint, carpeting and our laundry room, you’re more likely to notice a new finish on the wonderful beams arching over The Pointe Restaurant done by Robinson Cook. A table for you in Howard’s Winecellar: The long-awaited addition to Howard’s Winecellar, a beautiful table, has been installed—it’s really a work of art, and it’s perfect. Featuring bird's eye yellow cedar on top, the base of the table is made of rocks from Effingham Inlet off Barkley Sound. Local artist, Claire Watson, has illustrated the bull kelp designe weaving through the rock "islands" and they are inlaid with yew wood. It’s a stunning piece of art and we’re so pleased to invite you to dine here. Seating up to 20 people, Howard’s Wine Cellar is available for small group gatherings and celebrations. Surfrider Sessions Gala, March 7, 2020: Enjoy a fun evening out while supporting our local Surfrider Chapter! This fundraiser runs 6pm-10pm and includes live music, a silent auction, keynote speakers and a fantastic three-course sit-down dinner put on by our fantastic culinary team. Tickets are $150 per person and 100% of proceeds will benefit Surfrider Pacific Rim. Tickets go fast, so don’t miss out!
