Our very own local personality and Maître de Maison, Charles McDiarmid, hosted a special first-of-its-kind walking Historical Tour of Tofino this month. Walking through time from centuries-old anchors to old baseball diamonds that no longer exist, Charles weaves the maritime history of Clayoquot Sound with the adventures of a young boy growing up in Tofino. While the walk intertwines stories from the Village Green down to the whiskey dock and a few spots in-between, it's Charles' memories of the town he grew up in that captivate the imagination.

Join us for a beach clean-up during Tourism Tofino's Washed Up Wednesdays. Every Wednesday between 11 am - 2 pm throughout the summer, participants clean Chesterman Beach and enter to win daily prizes - the grand prize being a complimentary 3-night stay with us at the Inn. We are proud to partner with Surfrider Foundation on this worthwhile initiative and hope to see you there!

We are also excited to be celebrating Food Day Canada with all Canadians this Saturday, July 31st, 2021. Another great reason to come together this season and share the diverse cuisines from around our vast country, shine a light on and thank the incredible people who work every day to provide us with great food. Join us in the celebration and post your stories, menus and pictures with everyone using #FoodDayCanada and @FoodDayCanada.
