Oyster & Wine Tasting Event

For those who are in town on Friday, November 22nd from 6 - 8 pm, you are invited to join us at the Driftwood Café for our Oyster & Wine Tasting Event in celebration of the annual Tofino Oyster Festival! Indulge in fresh, locally sourced oysters from the pristine waters of Vancouver Island, paired with select wines from the renowned DaSilva Winery. This grazing event offers both in-house guests and visitors the chance to savour each pairing and enjoy the relaxed ambiance of the Inn. Tickets are $100.00 + tax and gratuity and are available for purchase through our online store. We look forward to sharing this memorable evening on the coast with you!

Holiday Light Tour & Food Bank Fundraiser

Mark your calendars for our beloved annual holiday tradition. The Wick’s Holiday Light Tour & Food Bank Fundraiser takes place this year on Wednesday, December 11th, from 6 - 8 PM. For nearly 30 years, visitors and the coastal community have been invited to experience the festive spirit as the Inn transforms into a winter wonderland. Join us in supporting the Fish And Loaves Tofino and Food Bank On The Edge by donating non-perishable goods or giving cash donations. The Inn will match cash contributions up to a value of $2,000.

Tofino's Hot Cocoa Trail

The Hot Cocoa Trail returns from December 1 to 31. This year, we’re excited to serve two delightful creations crafted by our culinary team. Savour our Fig & Pear Hot Chocolate, infused with house-made fig and pear honey, warm cinnamon, and whipped cream. It’s the ultimate comforting treat for taking in the tranquil beauty of the Pacific. For those seeking bold flavours and the perfect way to unwind after a day in the ocean, our Coastal Dark Hot Chocolate features a rich blend of dark chocolate with local Cowichan Rhumb and Shelter Point Sunshine Liqueur, topped with a generous swirl of whipped cream. Join us this December for a cozy treat that warms the body and soul.

Daily Advent Calendar Draw at the Driftwood Café

From December 1 to 24, the Driftwood Café will be hosting our interactive Daily Advent Calendar Draw! Each day we’ll open one of the handmade cedar boxes, with one lucky winner taking home the gift inside. Anyone at the café during the draw is eligible to win, so come by for festive fun and a chance to take home a delightful surprise!
